Well, Eli is still feverish and after visiting the doc today, she thinks he has roseola. Roseola is a virus characterized by a sudden onset of high fevers that last for 3-5 days (we are on day 3) and then stop and are followed by a rash. We are hoping the fever stops in the next day or so and we see the rash to show that the illness is on it's way out. Eli gets really sleepy and uncomfortable when his temp goes above 100/101 degrees, so we've been dosing him up with Motrin to help him feel better. I hate giving him so much medication but it's like clockwork that as soon as the old dose wears off, then fever goes up within an hour to 102-103....too high for my liking! Once the Motrin kicks in after about 30 minutes, he is his normal self and then magically, 5-6 hours after the dose his fever begins to rise again! Here's hoping we are reaching the end of this thing! Here's a pic of our sicky boy:

BEFORE the fevers, we participated in activities & Eli said some new phrases.
New phrases this week:
1) "I like it!"
2) "Funny noise"
3) "Again!"
4) "More, peese" (more, please)
5) "Scuse me" (excuse me...said after he burps...too cute)
6) "Amost? Coser?" (almost? closer? said while we are driving)
7) "Missed it!" (said while mising a ball thrown at him to catch...as heard in the below video)
8) "Yogurt...fell down...daddy" (said when daddy dropped yogurt on his pants)
9) "I sorry...gove" (said after throwing oven mitt down the stairs)
10) "Ocagon" "Exagon" "Pengon" (octagon, hexagon, pentagon....Eli is learning these new shapes and doing well!)
Eli also is doing quite well with his jumping now (both feet off of the ground most of the time)!
Some activites we did are below:
Play-doh is always a rainy day favorite:
What is this you ask?
We visited another nature center last week that we had not been to yet. It is bigger than the one we usually go to and had a fun education center and trails.
Riding Mr. Frog:

The best group picture we have got yet! Not everyone was there that day but it was too cute of a picture to pass up. Look how big they are all getting!!:

The next day we went to the nature park near us and attended "Dragonfly Daze". It was fun, although, crowded, and we enjoyed the trails!:

Haha too hilarious that he apologized to the oven mitt for throwing it downstairs.
And I see he had fun holding Playdoh poop again. :)
Feel better big guy!
G just learned how to jump with both feet off the floor this weekend. It's so crazy how in synch they are. As for the Motrin, the last time Georgia was sick, the doctor said we could alternate Tylenol and Motrin so that you give Tylenol and then 3 hrs later give Motrin and then 3 hrs later give Tylenol. So then the fever doesn't have a chance to get back up but you aren't overdosing on one medicine. Call and ask about that. It really helped.
