Eli loves his daddy!!!

Eli was able to spend a lot of quality time with his daddy this week due to him being on vacation. Eli already loves his daddy, but after this week, he REALLY loves his daddy!! One way to prove this is that Eli has not allowed me to put him to sleep much this week. But when daddy tries, MAGIC, he falls asleep!! Daddy is so goofy & fun that Eli just eats it all up :) I'm glad that they were able to have some quality male bonding....I hope they continue to be best buds for many years to come :) Here's some pictures of their week:

Eli is big into pointing at everything these days

Reading with Daddy (& Mocha)

Eli enjoys making a variety of sounds....this is just one of them

Daddy likes to give Eli crazy hairdos....& Eli loves it!

Just another way Eli is like his daddy.....if he's watching t.v. (Baby Einstein)....you may as well not exist!!

Looking out the window....

......and the door!

Enjoying mommy's milk! Eric says he will drink the milk & then say "mama" & do the milk sign....what a smart boy!!

Something REALLY funny must have happened on t.v.

Just chillin' on his ride

What a face!!

Eli loves to push around his high chair in the kitchen....I need to do better at keeping our floor clean!!

Saturday we went to see our niece, Sammie, play softball. Although it was a rainy day, Eli seemed to enjoy watching the game. I'm sure he'll be into sports like his daddy....especially baseball!

Daddy sharing with Eli some secrets of the game

Today we attended Kalani's baby blessing. During the service he fell asleep on his daddy like this. He is SO cute!!!

Eli & daddy after the service.....aren't they handsome?

I am really enjoying the cooler weather. It never fails the cycle I (& probably many other midwesterners) go through each year: during winter I long for spring; spring never seems to last long enough but then I'm ready for some hot weather; by August, I look forward to fall & am tired of the heat; then I look forward to the first snow; but I ALWAYS am ready for spring to come again!! This year, I am ESPECIALLY ready for the first freeze. It's not because I enjoy cold weather, but I am SO tired of all the bugs we have had around & inside our house: bees (several kinds), spiders, ants, fruit flies, wasps, & cicadas!! It seems especially bad this year & it's hard to even enjoy sitting on our deck without one of these bugs bothering us. The cold weather couldn't get here any faster for me!!

Hope everyone has a great week!!
