My big guy turned 4 today and I just keep thinking he will be starting kindergarten in 2 years. Wow. Eli wants to be a "big boy" in so many ways and in many ways he is, but of course in more ways he is not.....which is just fine with me :) We asked him this morning if he felt different being 4 and he said "no, not really" in a matter of fact way. Then he immediately said "and then I will be 5!!!"
Just for fun, here are the posts I wrote when Eli was born & his 1st, 2nd, & 3rd birthdays. But the sentiments spoken in each of those posts still ring true....I am in love with Mr. Eli & find the most important job in my life is raising children. I look forward to this year raising a 4 and 1 year old & will again be in disbelief when the "5" rolls around next year.
