Anna's in the double digits (& the longest post of the century!)

Because I cannot seem to do more than one post a month, I apologize that this will be a LONG one. You are welcome to just look at the pictures but I also use this blog as an online "scrapebook", so I hope to get some things written down that I want to remember. So, bear with me!

Anna turned 10 months today and she is turning into such a little girl! Her red hair gets more & more "fiery" everyday and is starting to get long enough to wear clips in. Below are her 10 month pictures in the chair:

During this last month Anna has learned how to crawl, pull up, clap and walks with help! She really enjoys all of her knew skills and is busy exploring everyday!

Anna also moved to her convertible carseat and has a more upright view of the world:

Anna enjoys music and likes to be sung to, dance when held, and play instruments:

I bought her a walker as we did Eli, but at this rate, she will be walking before she even has it 2 months!

Her first tutu!

Anna is an active sleeper, tossing, turning, and sometimes crawling! I came in one night and found her like this....no wonder this pose in yoga is called "child's pose"!:

Springtime means, time outside!

We have been frequenting Paradise Park this winter and Anna recently has enjoyed the baby room....all padded stuff to climb & pull up on!:

Now for some Eli fun :) Eli is as busy, inquisitive, curious, and fun as ever!! It is so awesome to have little conversations with him and hear his thoughts about things. He asks questions all.day.long and continues to a social butterfly. On occasion he acts shy, but it only lasts about 20 seconds before he the new environment or person becomes a new place/person to question and explore. I will say that the beginning of age 3 was a little rocky, but now that we are on our way to 4, things are improving. I guess his ability to understand and accept answers that are logical to him is expanding and consequences are meaning more. It's a learning process for all of us!!

At Paradise Park they opened the outside portion this week:

Eli's FAVORITE....Racing Game!! He is really good at it, too!:

Actually, anything to do with cars!

Playing at the mall. This little girl and Eli just ran around chasing each other and laughing. It was too cute. Most of the girls Eli knows don't enjoy his energy ;)

Much to my dismay, Eli always has to try out the video games while at the mall. We don't play them, just pretend:

How many cars long IS Eli??

We continue to do our weekly science experiments. Eli is certainly a little scientist! Here we are planting herbs from a kit given to him for his 3rd birthday:

Did you know raisins could dance???

We have a new library here and it is GORGEOUS!!! They have a whole floor for kids and it is really great. Here is Eli doing computer time:

Eli also has really started to be a goofy kiddo...in a cute way ;) He will say silly things, make up words, and make the funniest faces! Below are some pictures to show you what I mean:

Self portraits from my iphone...heehee....

Where does he get it from?

While Eli still must be reminded multiple times a day how to be gentle and not treat Anna like his buddies, they are starting to get along really well and are fun to watch their bond grow.

Anna is even starting to like WRESTLING!!

Cousin Katelynn came to visit last weekend (with her mommies, auntie, and uncle, too :). It is great fun to get the kiddos together...and hopefully more kiddos to come!! (Not from me, by the way ;)

And a get together wouldn't be complete without a cousins picture!

That's all for now...check back in in about a month!! ;)
