Our little lady is turning 9 months today and we are still as in love as ever with her! Her calm personality is so relaxing and I am in awe of raising 2 different kiddos! There are a number of accomplishments to share along with info I want to remember....so here we go!
1) Anna checked out great at her 9 month appointment today. Here are her stats:
21 lbs. 5 oz. 90th %
29 3/4 in. >95th %
18 in (head) 90th %
2) Anna wears 9-12 month clothes with a few 18 month mixed in.
3) Anna continues to rock & scoot but no crawling yet.
4) Anna can get herself to sitting position from her belly.
5) She can pull herself up to her knees.
6) Anna loves to stand against the couch or chairs...makes her ALL smiles!
7) Anna flops her hand around representing a wave when people wave at her.
8) Anna KNOWS if she has been left alone even for a minute. She will let you know but if she is actively engaged in play, she is okay.
9) Anna naps 2-3 times a day anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours!
10) Anna's bedtime is between 7:15-7:45pm and she is usually up for the day around 7am.
11) Anna now has 5 teeth and the 6th is poking through!!
12) She LOVES baths and will splash up a storm! She even tried to pull herself up once and slipped and went under...she handled it well, though!
13) Anna's hair is getting longer and staying a beautiful red....we love it.
14) Anna is now eating finger/table food like a champ. She will eat small pieces of a variety of fruits, veggies, meats, and bread. She had cheese for the first time today and LOVED it! She also loves to eat Baby Mum Mums and puffs!
15) While eating, she is SO noisy! She will yelp and hum and is so excited to eat!
16) Anna still nurses wonderfully every 2-4 hours 24/7!
17) Anna will be moving to her big girl carseat in 2 weeks. We tried to hold out through the end of winter....did we make it? Never know down here!
18) Anna likes to play with her toys and loves to pull out toy after toy from her bins. She also likes hide and seek!
Funny as she ALSO loves to play with her car seat.
19) As I did with Eli, I am teaching Anna a few words in sign language: eat, milk, more, all done, sleep, diaper change, bath, and help.
20) Anna is too cute when I have been gone at work and she sees me. She will yelp and jump up and down in the arms of whoever is holding her...melts my heard :)
