Just some pics of our Elijah Lee

Eli continues to do great and I am so happy he didn't get a full on ear infection like Miss Anna did. His just remained a cold with runny nose & cough. For whatever reason this winter it seems the babies are getting ear infections and the preschoolers remain colds....at least in our little group.

Not sure if I also reported that Eli's bald spot he got in the front center of his head has come back fully in the last couple months. It was obviously a stress spot, as the lady from Great Clips called it, as she was exactly right about the time frame. His hair began to fall out 3 months after Anna was born (the stressor) and came back fully within 6 months. Who knew! As a result, we have started cutting his hair shorter to help out his crazy cowlick he has in the front. Any longer hair and it just automatically parts. It is interesting because it somehow got "stronger" as he used to be able to have longer bangs and his hair would lay flat. Not anymore!

I would also say that Eli is officially potty "learned". He rarely has accidents and is even able to go to the bathroom in public restrooms. He still wears a pull up to bed but more often than not he wakes up dry. He is funny because he will randomly choose if he wants to stand or sit! He still gets m & m's, but sometimes forgets so I know we will be able to wean if off of them soon. But hallelujah to NO MORE PULL UPS!!

Eli has loved our weekly science experiments. I found a few lessons using baking soda and vinegar and he thinks it is so awesome! So far we have seen the reaction between the two and today blew up a balloon on a bottle with the reaction. He will say "I wanna do the science experiment, mom."

He really enjoys this each time I vacuum now. He has had his vacuum awhile but just recently wants to help every time!

With all our snow, we decided to try snow ice cream....yummy!!

Ready to go outside in the snow!

His favorite past time....Hotwheels!

And to close, a video of Eli showing off his counting skills. Funny how he gets confused about moving to his other hand to count past 5. He is so into counting everything now....awesome! Yes, and he gets distracted quite easily. I live in a house of non-listening men. I am sure Anna & I will have a lot to be united about on that front :)
