A little update.....

Just wanted to write a quick post thanking everyone for their love and support! We are certainly in an adjustment period and I hope everyone knows that we truly appreciate all of your care and concern. Eli turned 1 week yesterday and it's hard to believe!! While I love how precious the newborn stage is, I must say I will be happy when more of a "schedule" is established when he is a little older. My time is literally filled with breastfeeding, diaper changes, and trying to fit in sleep whenever possible, making everything else low on my priority list. I will update the blog when time permits so we can keep everyone updated with pictures and stories about Eli. Overall, we are doing well. Breastfeeding and lack of sleep are our biggest challenges, but everyday we are getting a little better. Eric and I have learned to celebrate the small successes!! This has brought us so much closer together. Thanks again!
