Our little girl turned TWO on May 25th.....amazing! She continues to be our sweet little lady! She is keeping up really well with her brother and they are slowly but surely become the best of friends. She used to call her brother "E-i" but just in the last couple weeks has found her "L's" and he is now ELI! Her vocabulary continues to blossom and I have not done well at keeping up with her words....sorry second child!! ;) Below are a few more tidbits about our little girl:
1) She is quite the organizer! She will throw away trash, take shoes to the shoe tray, bring items to people that she knows are theirs, and just overall enjoys tidying up....after my heart this girl is!!
2) She throws her plate of food on the floor when she is all done. Regardless of us teaching her the sign for "all done" since she was 6 months old!! But, going along with #1, she will help clean it up!!
3) She loves to give our kitty, Mocha, full body hugs by laying ON her. She has also been seen hitting or kicking her but a gentle reminder is all she really needs to give hugs & kisses.
4) She is my more conservative and shy girl, but once she warms up to you, you can become her "best friend" fast! She has been known to only want to be with whomever she has been with the most. For example, sometimes when I come home from work, she only wants daddy because she has been with him all morning!
5) She really adores her brother, and gives him random hugs & kisses, brings him his water, etc. But, she also will let him know when enough is enough!
6) She is still nursing about 1-2 times a day and then for naps & bedtime. But, she has gone many nights without nursing at all!
7) She loves to read books & will bring several to us to read
8) She loves to play outside....just like her brother!
9) She does NOT like playing in the sprinkler....pool girl she is!
10) She is ALL about the bling: jewelry, sparkly shirts, etc.....but not on her! I have yet to get her to wear a hair clip for longer than a few minutes!!
We threw her a cute little "Hello Kitty" party! She loves kitties and since "Hello Kitty" is everywhere, it just made sense! It was fun to organize and I am again so thankful for the wonderfully talented friends I have who made her day a special one. Friends made the invitations, her outfit, and cake!
