A week in pictures: 3/29/12 to 4/8/12

Last week, Eli was on Spring Break so we ventured out a little more than usual! It was a beautiful week and we had fun!

Crown Center has a cute exhibit called "Tales and Trails"....FREE! These are great little exhibits and we look forward to the dinosaur one coming up in May!

And because it was close to Easter, we HAD to stop at the chocolate factory for chocolate covered peeps!!

Crown Center will have 2 new exhibits opening soon. An aquarium and Legoland!! Very excited for both!

Blue fountains for the aquarium opening....and the Royals!!

We met friends at Wonderscope Children's Museum and used a Groupon we had! Another great outing for kiddos!

We had a fun playdate with Greta & Coco and afterwards, Eli said he learned from Greta how to pump his legs enough so that he could swing himself without ANY pushing....he was excited!!

Miss Anna strips off her shoes at ANY moment. It seems she will be our nature girl this summer!

We have loved playing with all the helicopters in our yard!! SO many of them!!

I made Rice Krispie treat eggs....a little harder than it sounds to make an egg shape!!

We participated in the Easter Egg hunt put on by the church Eli's preschool is run by. The hunt took place inside due to pending rain. They had fun games, crafts, snacks, Easter bunny, and even a raffle!

The Easter Bunny visits our house overnight (similar to Santa) and leaves little gifts around the house. Eli enjoys finding what he leaves him!

Anna got some bubbles!

And we leave out food for him....cause he is gonna be hungry, of course!!

Anna's loot:

Eli's loot:

Dyeing Easter eggs!

The finished product....like the monster eggs??

We celebrated Easter with a wonderful meal and Easter egg hunt at Grandma & Grandpa Clarksons:

Hopscotch (and yes, her hair is getting so long!!! I hope she learns to like ponies or piggies or she may have a hot summer!!)

Rockin' with Grandma:

Chasin' cousin Sammie:

Hope your Easter was a good one!!

Our family did a morning hunt in the house when I was growing up, too. LOVED it. My mom went all out - especially the older we got. Chocolate eggs in the shoes, gifts on the ceiling fan blades, lol! Unfortunately, we occasionally found goodies we'd missed several months later. :P
