Halloween (& other stuff)

Hello Eli fans! This post is long...but full of fun pictures & videos, so enjoy!!

Eli LOVES to turn the t.v. on & off. We have set up an obstacle course to deter him from doing this. He likes to stand and hold on to the toys & watch an occasional cartoon or song.

But somehow he always seems to make his way to the t.v. while mischievously watching us as he does it....little stinker:

Funny pictures of Eli playing with Daddy on the floor:

Eli imitating Great Grandpa Bidney (pants pulled up high with remote in hand):

Eli says: "What did you say, mama??"

This is what happens when Eli gets a hold of the Sunday newspaper:

Cute video of Eli sleeping:

Eli continues to like to play with the massager & he particularly enjoys putting it on items that result in a loud noise:

Daddy is an EXCELLANT dancer:

Laser pens are fun for kitty kats AND toddlers:

Okay, now Halloween pictures. I thought it would be cute to compare pictures of Eli last year & this year. Last year Eli had a simple costume of a ghost:

This year, Eli's costume was a little more complex.....our little fire breathing......dragon!!!

Eli wore his costume first to breastfeeding group on Friday. Here are some pictures of Eli's friends:

Cute Callie as a sheep (sheep eat graham crackers, right??):

Baby cow (or I guess I should say calf :):

Cave mommy & baby:

Grandma Clarkson brought us some special treats on Halloween: homemade cupcakes & this cute candy floral arrangement:

Eric put his creativity to use & carved/decorated our pumpkins:

We decided to take Eli out trick-or-treating this year just around the neighborhood. We only made it to a few houses but it was fun. Grandma & Grandpa Clarkson came over to see our little dragon, too. Here he is coming out to show off his costume:

He much preferred to have the hood off. The costume had a cute tail & wings....and a surprisingly large tummy & rear area!

We took Eli out in his wagon for trick-or-treating:

"Trick-or-treat"!!

Halloween 2008:

On Saturday, we attended a Halloween/birthday playdate for 3 of our breastfeeding group friends: Jack, Sophia & Christopher. I think most of the kiddos were sick of their costumes so most did not wear them. I brought Eli's but decided not to torture him any longer. Here is Eli hangin' out with the boys at the party:

Emmalee off roading on Jack's 4X4:

Sophia enjoying her birthday party....look at those blue eyes!!:

Julie & Kaden:

Sarah & Addie:

Tiffany & Lilly:

Miss Callie:

Eli enjoyed the bubbles portion of the party. He took front row & didn't even mind getting bubbles in his hair & face. The little girl next to him, Kennison, is Jack's cousin. It was too cute because they both touched foreheads a few times during the bubble blowing. Eli for some reason likes to "butt" heads with his friends:

The leaves are turning and last year at this time I took a picture with 11 week old Eli in front of our beautiful tree:

Here we are this year, about a year later:

This coming weekend we will be heading up to Iowa to visit my family. Eli hates being in the car too long, so I'm sure we'll make a couple stops along the way. Look forward to seeing everyone!

Oh, and I decided to copy other blogs and do a "First words" section on our blog. Check it out!
