28 1/2 week sonogram

This morning I had my 28 (1/2) week sonogram and my Rhogam shot. The sonogram tech checked everything out and said that he looks healthy, as does my placenta. He weighs 3 1/2 pounds and is measuring a week ahead, but she said this is not unusual. He was very active and at one point we saw him grab his foot with his hand. Here is cute little face and fists:

He definitely has grown from the last sonogram pics and she confirmed that yes, he is a boy!!

Next week I see my current OBGYN one last time and then begin to see my new OBGYN the next week. I'll start to see my OBGYN every 2 weeks now and starting at 36 weeks, every week.

I also went to look at daycares today. I visited 1 privately owned daycare, 2 church daycares, and 1 in home daycare. The private daycare was very nice and really was quite impressive. The doors are accessed only through a key card and you check your child in and out through a computer system. The place was extremely clean, and smelled this way, but not a bleachy smell, and I was really impressed. But, of course, it was the most expensive. The 2 church daycares were the same price as each other and I liked one over the other just because it was a little bigger and seemed more organized. The in home was fine, too, and was the cheapest. She had 5 kids and has been doing daycare for 15 years. But, she's not licensed and doesn't have education in childcare, just experience. The daycares that are not in the home just seem more organized and since they are licensed, must abide by certain guidelines. I have 1 more in home to visit in a couple of weeks, so we'll see!!

Have a great week!
