Happy 5th Birthday big guy!

Our boy is 5 and I can't believe that I've been a mother for 5 years!  Due to his birthday, he didn't start kindergarten this year but did start his 3rd year of preschool...actually considered pre-k!  He loves school as he always has!

Our strong willed & spirited boy had an eventful & somewhat rocky 4th year.  I am hoping that maturity & our attempts at remaining consistent & positive with him will help make his 5th year better.  Just a lot of emotions going on with our guy.  But along with the difficult emotions are the loving & fun emotions so it all equals out!  We've been trying to utilize conscious parenting, playful parenting, and overall positive parenting...never a dull moment!!

Eli grew 2 3/4 inches this year making him 44 1/4 inches tall.  He weighs around 47 lbs.

I decided to interview Eli this year to see what his favorites are.  Here's hoping I can remember to continue this tradition as it was fun to do!
